Client: Innovation Center @ SNHU
About the Project: The Innovation Center Charter represents a pivotal document designed to serve both as an internal guide and an external marketing asset. This project was undertaken with the goal of elucidating the intricacies of the project intake process and the comprehensive scope of services offered by the Innovation Center. Our overarching aim was to underscore the alignment of these services with Southern New Hampshire University's mission.
The Challenge: The primary challenge lay in creating a document that could effectively communicate the project intake process while exemplifying the Innovation Center's dedication to SNHU's mission. It required a keen eye for detail, strategic content development, and a visually appealing design.
My Role: Creative Direction, Lead Designer, Vendor Management and Print Production Coordinator
Solution & Design Process: In the solution and design process, collaboration was key from the outset. Leadership provided the initial narratives, which I then refined and visually transformed. The iterative evolution of the Project Intake graphic, guided by team feedback, ensured its accuracy and clarity. This graphic not only communicated our processes effectively but also served as a valuable internal team reference throughout the project.
Fun Fact: The spread featuring post-it notes is from our team design-thinking facilitation, an exercise that played a crucial role in shaping the content and direction of the Innovation Center Charter, adding a layer of innovation to the document itself.
Attributions: Close collaboration with a strategist/copywriter, project manager, Innovation Center team, and senior leaders was instrumental in shaping the project's content and obtaining approvals.
